What does the roastmaster tour consist of?

This tour consists of roasting your own ½ lb of Kona Coffee using one of our individual roasters, which is packaged and taken home in two 4oz bags with customized labels. Weather does not affect this tour as the roasting room is indoors.

What times are the roastmaster tours available?

Tours are available by reservation at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm.

How long does the roastmaster tour take?

The roasting tour includes a farm tour and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

How much does the roastmaster tour cost?

The roasting tour costs $35 + tax per person.

Where do visitors meet for the roastmaster tour?

Visitors should come to the store on the estate at least 5 minutes prior to their reservation. Please contact us if there is a delay.

What languages are available for the roastmaster tour?

Roasting tours can be done in either English or Japanese.

How many people can do the roastmaster tour at one time?

2 to 9 people can do the roasting tour at a time. For larger groups of more than 9 people, they will be broken up into smaller groups to accommodate the number of roasters (Groups of maximum of 18 pax is best).

Are roastmaster tours possible for wheelchair individuals?

Roasters are situated higher than wheelchairs, but provided that they are accompanied, roasting tours are feasible for wheelchair individuals.

Can photos from a personal camera be used for the label?

Yes, although we take a picture for the roasting tour label, photos from own cameras may be used to put on the label.

Is there additional coffee available for gifts (eg: honeymoon/wedding gifts)?

There are 4oz bags available for $11.00 + tax each for purchase, to put the custom labels on and give as gifts. It is best to notify us if a large number of bags is needed, so we can prepare them beforehand.

 

About Estate tours

 

What does the estate tour consist of?

This tour consists of a walking tour of the estate as we explain the cultivation and harvesting of Kona coffee. Depending on the time of year, coffee cherry picking can be experienced.

What times are the estate tours available?

They are available from 9:30am to 3:00pm every hour daily. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted.

How much does the estate tour cost?

Farm tours are free of charge.

Where do visitors meet for the estate tour?

Visitors should come to the store on the estate at least 5 minutes prior to their reservation. Please contact us if there is a delay.

What languages are available for the estate tour?

Farm tours can be done in either English or Japanese. (The same applies for the roasting tours.)

How many people can take the estate tour at one time?

Any number of people, including just one, can take the farm tour. However, for large groups of 30 people or more, we will break up into smaller groups to take one at a time. For example, for a group of 100 people, we would break them up into 3 groups.

Is there parking for large tour buses?

Parking for up to 2 large buses is available.

Are there restrooms on the estate?

There are men/women restrooms available at the store on the estate, which are wheelchair accessible.

Are estate tours possible for wheelchair individuals?

A portion of the farm tour has a steep hill, but provided that they are accompanied, wheelchair individuals can take the tour.

 

About Ordering

 

How are orders shipped?

Mail orders are shipped by USPS Priority Mail. For orders that need expedited delivery, USPS Express Mail and FedEx are available for an additional charge. To receive the tracking number for orders shipped, please email us at info@ucc-hawaii.com.

How long will it take me to receive my order?

Orders are usually processed and sent within 48 hours. Shipments are made on Monday for orders that are placed during the weekend. Delivery can take from 5-7 business days for domestic shipments (depending on the mailing address).

How much is shipping to US Mainland (USPS)?

Shipping cost depends on the total amount of purchase of the package. The following price list is the current 2013 shipping fees.

Up to $200: $12.35
From 200.01 to $300: $16.85
From 300.01 to $500: $44.60

Which credit cards can I use?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Diners, and American Express.

Is your online shopping safe?

Personal information such as your name, e-mail address and credit card and billing information submitted on the order form is collected and protected by a secure server. We will never share, sell, trade or otherwise provide any information collected to any third parties. If there are any concerns regarding privacy and security, please contact us by phone or fax to place your order.
