Come join the fun at the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Picking Contest!

Started in 1970, in celebration of Kona coffee farmers, the festival aims to promote, preserve, and perpetuate the history and culture of Kona coffee. This year’s festival is from November 1-10 with a variety of family-friendly events held each day all over Kailua-Kona.

One signature event of the festival is the Kona coffee picking contest at the UCC Kona Coffee Estate on November 3 at 8:30am (registration begins at 7:30am). With prizes for competition winners, food and refreshments, and fun for all, everyone from children to adults is invited to experience the Kona coffee harvest.
